Shiatsu Share, Leic ester on the 5th September

Hi,

I’ve decided to commit to organise Shiatsu peer groups for the next two quarters of the year and would welcome help from other practitioners in the midlands with this.

The next Shiatsu swap for practitioners and students has been arranged for the morning of the 5th September 2009, at the Friends Meeting house, Leicester.

 The room is booked from 9am and is located on the ground floor next to the kitchen. 

This gives people time to catch up with colleagues over a hot drink before the session if they want to do so. The centre does provide tea, coffee etc for drinks but if you have any specific requirements or would like to have milk in your drink please bring some with you.

 I propose we meet ready to start doing Shiatsu at 10am through to 1pm.

Please bring a futon, cushions etc with you to practice on if you are able to.

£5 contribution per person will cover the room hire costs.

 There are some lovely deli’s and cafes in the area if you fancy some lunch after the meeting.

Shiatsu tasters at The Centre of Balance Leicester

Shiatsu Peer to Peer meeting, Leicester

Hi, I would like to invite you to a Shiatsu CPD group meeting in Leicester on Saturday the 25th April between the hours of 10am-1pm. The venue is the friends meeting house (http://leicester.quaker.eu.org/find.htm)

The group will be using the library space which I have been advised will be free from table and chairs and ready for futons.

I’ve put together a rough plan : 10-10.45: meet & Do-In

 10.45-11.45: Caroline Salzedo -tasters on working with the bones, shoulder work, and working with the breath. Caroline has kindly agreed to gift her teaching to the group for no fee. Visit Carolines website at: http://www.carolinesalzedo.co.uk/

 I’d also love your feedback on the group, if there is anything that you would like to focus on, work towards or any workshops that you would like to attend / organise in the midlands.

Martial Arts Festival 4-5th April, Leicester

I’m going to be at the Martial Arts festival in Leicester this weekend http://www.maf-uk.co.uk/Festival.html, if anyone fancies having a Shiatsu treatment and enjoying the event. All proceeds from Shiatsu will go to kidscape the childrens charity, http://www.kidscape.org.uk/childrenteens/defence.shtml.

There will be lots to do, Martial Arts demonstrations and workshops, thousands of stalls, fun fair, Vikings and Shiatsu!

I will be there on Saturday, it would be great to see you.
