Free podcast on the effects of Acupressure for pregnancy & childbirth

Posted by tfootitt on September 30, 2008

If you are a member of the Chinese Medicine Tools (http://www.chinesemedicinetools.com/) you can access a free podcast seminar lecture on Acupressure for pregnancy and childbirth. It has some really interesting facts and discusses current research in this area, which has found that the Spleen 6 point was effective in reducing labour pain and delivery time, in addition to other findings.

If you aren’t a member of Chinese Medicine Tools, you are still able to watch 15 minutes of the seminar for free at: http://www.prodseminars.com/courses/courses/labour1/player.html?pop=TRUE

“This online seminar on acupressure during pregnancy and labour by Debra Betts is a fantastic model to develop your own presentation to educate the public on how acupuncture is beneficial at treating unwanted symptoms during pregnancy. Debra Betts has educated doulas, midwives and couples in prenatal classes on how to use acupressure.”
