Telephone Gremlins

I’ve had my mobile phone high jacked by Gremlins.

Apologies if anyone has tried to text or call me, I’m not being rude, my phone is currently missing in action so I am unable to respond.

I should be getting a new SIM card this week, so should hopefully be back up and running by Friday.

Mobile phones are now an intergral part of life, how did we cope without them before? Quite well, as I remember but the thought of not having one now is a completely different matter.

On one of my Shiatsu course weekends we did some body work and looked at arm length measurements looking at / for imbalances in the back.  The teacher demonstrated the effect that a mobile phone can have on imbalances in the body by placing the phone on the receivers back. The arm imbalance was far worse that it had been without the phone, so with this in mind I do believe that they affect health make the dis-ease worse.

I’m sure I remember reading somewhere about a surge in cases of RSI in the thumbs of mobile phone users, too - ‘texter’s thumb’!

Presumably, from an energetic point of view, the effects can be countered using balancing exercises or treatments? For example, I regularly flex and stretch my hands and arms to counteract the effects of sitting at a PC all day, and I also tap my thighs and lower back for the same reason - to prevent stagnation of energy.

PS I want your phone back too - keep having to remind myself that there’s no point texting you!!
