Arthritis Care – Burton upon Trent

I was invited to give a talk last night on Shiatsu to the ‘Arthritis Care’ (http://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/Home) group in Burton-on-Trent. I really enjoyed talking to the group about Shiatsu, meeting new people and some familiar faces.
It was the first real talk that I have done on Shiatsu by my self. I took a power point presentation with me and talked around the slides. I didn’t want to stand and talk at the group all night so took the group through a quick ‘Do In’ and then onto giving a neck and shoulders treatment in pairs. This seemed to go down very well. The group soon warmed up and into the spirit of things. It wasn’t long before smiles and giggling started to move along the room, with sighs of satisfaction.
Thank you to everyone that attended on a cold night, I hope you had an enjoyable evening and took something away from it. I know I certainly did.
